Sage Ii 3 Flying
Seth, i built a 379 LL years ago and i love it for small streams. I use a DT3 on medium water and a DT4 for brookies with 10′ or less casts. Im not trying to plug my stuff but i really like the spl’s better in the 4 & 5 wts. I have owned a 4711 graphite II and a 586 graphite II and they were great rods.
A potential fix for a bug that can cause very slow loading of mods in some cases. Rimworld bionic body parts. Updated language data to latest version. This version is almost the same as the previous version, with the following changes:.
My favorite sages are 279 & 379 LL for brookies, 389 LL or 489 SPL for spring creeks (i swear they both cast a 4wt line identical!) and the 490 LL is a killer dry fly rod that from boats. If i were in your shoes and were to by only one LL it would be a 2 piece 389. They were a mere 2.5 oz and cast like butter. You wont care if you are not catching fish they are so much fun to cast!Bill hall bought my 586 gen II LL years ago and I wish he would sell it back to me. It was my favorite of the LLs. One note on the LL’s. I’m pretty sure replacement sections for the series are unavailable from Sage.
If you break one you are pretty much out of luck on a replacement.I quit using mine for boat or canoe fishing and reserve it for special occasions. Boats are pretty tough on rods.Graphite II cannot be replacedGraphite III can!you can tell rods that have been replaced because the logo says SAGE LL in large letters vs. SAGE then 389LL with no Large LL behind the sage.

FYI if you are looking on ebay for one that says “new” its probably been replaced under warranty.
